A rare gem. Low tempo and pretty low "energylevel", but with heavy bass. In fact, most of this album consists of bass. Well defined and complex bass. I can't find any words other than hypnotic. My favourite track is the Shpongle track which is really a unique track. But it's also a lil bit out of place compared to the other songs, they go better together. Among them i can't pick one, you need them all.
The downside of it is that you need a good pair of speakers. A "home cinema" setup with 5 little plastic speakers and a subwoofer wont do. You need two speakers that can play well-defined bass and not just a big basswave like most subwoofers. The persons who compiled this album did it without thought on commercial success, they did it because they love this music. It can be heard.
Did i mention bass is addictive?
